Villa Sol & Fun — Terms of Service

Welcome to Villa Sol & Fun, a family-friendly vacation rental located in Playa Nueva Romana, La Romana, Dominican Republic. By booking, accessing, or using our services (including our website, booking platform, or property), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
- 1. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking with Villa Sol & Fun, you acknowledge that you:- Are at least 21 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction;
- Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement;
- Have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable policies referenced herein, including:

- Reservation Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when full or partial payment (as specified during booking) is received and a confirmation email is issued.
- Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, PayPal, or other secure processors displayed during checkout.
- Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required to cover damages, excessive cleaning, or policy violations.
- Pricing: All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Taxes, cleaning fees, and optional services (airport transfers, golf cart rentals, excursions) may apply. Villa Sol & Fun may reference prices for recommended services or excursions; these are subject to change without notice, but we make reasonable efforts to display current information.
- Villa Sol & Fun reserves the right to adjust rates or correct pricing errors before booking confirmation.
- 2.1 Double-Booking Policy
- While our system syncs with multiple booking platforms, rare double-booking events may occur.
- Guests will be notified immediately;
- Options include rescheduling or a full refund of all payments;
- Alternative accommodations of equal or higher quality may be offered as a courtesy.
- 3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In: 3 PM (local time) unless otherwise arranged.
- Check-Out: 11 AM (local time).
- Late check-outs must be pre-approved and may incur additional fees.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight; valid ID is required at check-in.
- 4. Access Codes and Security
- Guests receive personal access codes for gates, doors, or smart devices.
- Access codes must not be shared for security reasons.
- Codes are automatically disabled upon check-out.
- Misuse of access codes may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.
- 5. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations follow the Villa Sol & Fun Cancellation Policy.
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 10 business days.
- In force majeure events (hurricanes, pandemics, natural disasters), we may offer credit or rescheduling options.
- 6. Guest Responsibilities
- Treat the property, furnishings, and community with care and respect.
- Follow all House Rules and Playa Nueva Romana Community Standards, including quiet hours, visitor registration, and security protocols.
- Supervise children at all times.
- Avoid illegal, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.
- Obtain written approval before hosting events.
- Report damages or maintenance issues promptly.
- 7. Optional Services and Third-Party Offerings
- Golf Cart Rentals
- Private Airport Transfers
- Local Excursions / Tours (operated by third parties)
- Private transportation services
- 8. Property Use and Limitations
- The villa is for short-term vacation use only.
- Commercial use, unauthorized filming, or sub-letting is prohibited.
- Do not exceed maximum occupancy.
- Amenities (e.g., pool / grill) are used at your own risk.
- 9. Liability and Disclaimers
- Villa Sol & Fun is not liable for personal injury or property loss.
- We are not responsible for utility interruptions (power, water, internet).
- Optional services and third-party offerings are at guest risk.
- 10. Privacy and Data Protection
- We collect personal data to manage reservations and verify identity.
- Some information is shared with Playa Nueva Romana for security access.
- We do not sell or distribute your personal information.
- 11. Security and Monitoring
- Outdoor cameras monitor entrances for safety.
- No cameras are installed in private areas.
- Do not tamper with security equipment.
- 12. Community Compliance
- Follow Playa Nueva Romana rules on gate entry, quiet hours, parking, and conduct.
- Non-compliance may result in fines or eviction without refund.
- 13. Changes, Termination & Force Majeure
- Villa Sol & Fun may modify bookings for non-compliance or misinformation.
- We may update these Terms at any time (the latest version appears here).
- 14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation; if unresolved, binding arbitration in La Romana applies. - 15. Contact Information
